Abstract:

In the process of digital technology profoundly reshaping the way humans exist, communicative practices are undergoing a paradigm shift in terms of connective patterns at the ontological, epistemological, and methodological levels.On the one hand, digital connectivity drives the reconstruction of relationships by bringing about a sensory revolution that integrates virtual and physical realms through technological mediation. It enhances personalization and creativity in communication, stimulates the awakening of communicative subjectivity, and concurrently propels profound transformations in the structure of digital communication.On the other hand, digital connectivity also exhibits a tendency towards alienation, with increasing manifestations of self-loss and the loosening of social structures. This is evident in the fluidity and crisis of relational forms, the compression and fragmentation of self-space, as well as the potential challenges posed by digital connectivity to social cohesion.In response to this practical dilemma, from the perspective of how digital connectivity shapes communities, we should transcend our reliance on technology and seek common values beyond the superficial manifestations of data. We should aim to enhance, rather than diminish, human subjectivity through technology, enabling communication to return to its authentic state, and forge social consensus through effective governance mechanisms.
