Abstract:

As a novel mode of interpersonal interaction rooted in the technological framework of big data and the internet, digital communication relies on the precise logic of digital coding and the ubiquitous connectivity of online platforms. On one hand, individual subjectivity exhibits creative effects such as distributed cognition, liquid practice, and quantum-like existence. On the other hand, it inevitably brings about impact effects like cognitive discipline, behavioral simulation, and identity alienation.Faced with the reality of the erosion of subjectivity, we need to adopt an action framework of "breaking barriers-reshaping power-establishing poles." This involves dismantling the logic of platform monopolies through collaborative institutional governance to rebuild the democratic foundation for rule-making. By leveraging innovations in human-machine interfaces, we can regain sensory sovereignty and resist the technological manipulation of algorithmic colonization. Additionally, relying on digital ethics to anchor core values, we can promote a civilizational process where technology is harnessed for the greater good, thereby systematically accomplishing the reconstruction of subjectivity.
