Abstract:

Chinese-style modernization is not only a major achievement made by the Communist Party of China leading the people in the long-term practice, but also a major theme of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and a significant innovation in the theory and practice of world modernization. The major innovations of Chinese-style modernization are mainly reflected in: adhering to the principle of having a global perspective and seeking great harmony, anchoring on the historical position of modernization in the world, solving the historical mysteries of modernization in the world, outlining the inevitable path of world modernization, proposing the concept of a community with a shared future for mankind, and achieving an innovation in worldview. Adhering to the principle of putting people first to promote common prosperity, we have innovatively developed modern theories of the people's subject, people's motivation, people's purpose and people's value, and achieved value innovation. Adhering to the pursuit of development with confidence and self-reliance, we have clarified the historical premise, central task and strategic strategies for advancing modernization, and achieved innovation in the view of history. Adhering to the principle of upholding tradition while promoting innovation to foster culture, we have put forward concepts such as respecting the diversity of world civilizations, promoting the common values of all mankind, and attaching importance to the inheritance and innovation of civilizations, thus achieving an innovative perspective on civilization. Adhering to the whole-process people's democracy to pool strength, focusing on people's democracy, it has proposed to guarantee the people's status as masters of the country through institutional systems, promote the all-round development of consultative democracy, and achieve innovation in the concept of democracy. Adhering to the principle of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature in creating crises, it has put forward concepts such as "community of life", "green development", and "global ecological civilization", achieving innovation in ecological perspectives. The "Six Views" contained in Chinese-style modernization and their great practices have made original contributions to the theory and practice of world modernization, providing a Chinese solution and contributing Chinese wisdom to humanity's exploration of a better social system.
